The WBIC model builds beyond traditional incubation models by offering an intensive system of on site experienced professionals and providing a fully equipped commercial grade manufacturing facility to grow enterprise size manufacturing businesses.  The WBIC model believes that it is equally important to grow both savvy business owners and markets for viable products.  Therefore, WBIC will incubate the business owner and product simultaneously.

The Center is uniquely positioned to take a leadership role in developing viable and sustainable Native businesses in Maine.  WBIC has a comprehensive strategy to grow value added manufacturing jobs as well as establishing a system of agricultural growth to provide client businesses with a supply of Maine Native grown raw products.  It is the intent of the Center to established national markets and take advantage of opportunities unique to Native entrepreneurs.  WBIC will be well positioned to grow floundering economies in multiple counties and meet the goals of a good incubator.
